These pieces have been recycled: each literally born from another, having been stripped down and rebuilt. They are like fragments found in a tip, transformed by time and environment – you pick them up out of the dust and wonder what they were, creating new meanings as you turn them in your hand and in your mind. They appear to have once been a product of manufacturing and precision. I call them ‘Fan Dance’ because of what they hide and what they reveal.
